Everything is ready for the first general elections to be held in July. The Government is confident that normality will be the guideline for this Sunday’s election day, in which 37.5 million voters are called to the polls – of which 1.6 million are young people voting for the first time – and that any incidents, such as delays in the formation of polling stations due to the absence of deputies or presidents or other heat-related problems, will be resolved with the support of the Government Delegations and Subdelegations. “We have all the arrangements for everything to work as usual, correctly,” announced the Secretary of State for Communications, Francesc Vallés, this Saturday, during a press appearance in which he presented the electoral arrangements.
