The Welshman returns to the team with which he started his career
The midfielder has terminated his contract with Nice
Aaron Ramsey returns to what he has always considered home. After trotting through Europe’s big leagues, the Welsh midfielder will return to Cardiff City in what will be his third spell at the British club. The player leaves the elite to embark on a new adventure in the League, Second Division.
Ramsey broke his contract at Nice, a club he signed with last summer. The footballer did not materialize on the Costa Azul, despite having covered the quota of parties it had subscribed to and the institution automatically renewed it. There was even speculation about an extension to 2025 which never came.
The virtuoso player has stumbled since his departure from Arsenal, the club with which he has signed the best games of his career. The Welshman arrived at Juventus with the freedom card in a market move that seemed successful. In Turin, however, he never established himself and proof of this is the fact that in the 21-22 season he was loaned to the Scottish Rangers. In the Protestant Glasgow team he made an outstanding performance, leading them to the final of the Europa League, which ended up losing on penalties to Eintracht Frankfurt. He was the only player who missed a maximum penalty.
