The Senegalese defender is heading towards the Saudi championship after a bad spell at Chelsea

At Al Hilal he will join Ruben Neves to strengthen the team’s bid for the Scudetto

Al Hilal, runners-up in the last Club World Cup and third in the last championship in Saudi Arabia, announced this Sunday the signing of Senegalese deensa Kalidou Koulibaly.

At 32, Koulibaly sets course for Saudi league title after poor spell at English Chelseato which he barely adapted and had a very low, lower than expected contribution after costing the Stamford Bridge club around €40m which he had to pay to Italian Napoli.

Koulibaly thus strengthens the team led by the Argentine Ramón Díazwho a few days ago also announced the signing of the Portuguese midfielder Ruben Neves, coming from Wolverhampton.

Al Hilal will fight next season to get back on the road to the titlesFor what it has as great rivals, Al Ittihad, the last champion, who has been strengthened by the French striker Karim Benzema, and Al Nassr, who has signed the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo.
