The Portuguese and the French will face each other on December 14 in the match between Al Nassr and Al Ittihad

The last time Cristiano and Benzema met was in the Portugal-France match of the last European Championship

The parade of stars heading to Saudi football has aroused the interest of fans. The popularity of the Saudi Pro League has already increased grew exponentially last season after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in Al Nassr, and this course should maintain the upward trend.

In this sense, December 14th is marked in red on the calendar. The clash between Al Nassr and Al Ittihad will take place on that day. Or what is the same, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, two legends from the recent history of Real Madrid, will face each other.

The match between Cristiano and Benzema can mark a turning point in the fight for the championship. Despite taking place earlier, it is a match-up between the reigning champion (Al Ittihad) and last year’s runner-up (Al Nassr).

Although it is strange that Cristiano and Benzema meet as rivals, It won’t be the first time they’ve faced each other on a field. Both coincided in the last round of the group stage of the last European Championship, in which Portugal and France drew (2-2). The four goals of the match were scored by the former Madrid players, two for Cristiano and two for Benzema.
