The Spanish team celebrates its first title in 11 years this Monday: the third edition of the League of Nations. The team led by Luis De la Fuente won this Sunday against Croatia on penalties and, after returning from Holland this morning and visiting the King at the Zarzuela Palace, moved the celebrations to the Wizink Center. The Madrid pavilion opened its doors at six in the afternoon, with free admission subject to availability. DJ Nano, Twin Melody, Sofía Ellar and Los Gemeliers gladdened the anticipation of the fans, who filled the dance floor of the celebration stage and the first tier of the stands. The arrival of the players and coaching staff was scheduled for eight, but it takes a while. The fans responded even though it wasn’t a great title, as they hadn’t tasted the honey of success since Euro 2012.
